Refund Policy

We understand that taking one of our courses requires and investment for you and your company that goes beyond the price of the course.  We have made our refund policy as accommodating as possible.  The policy varies by different formats, but in each instance we do everything in our power to make it possible for you to opt out of a course if your schedule demands it.

  • Publicly Held Courses
    Because publicly held courses are dependent on the number of attendees, a person, or group of persons canceling can adversely affect the entire program.

    If you cancel at any time, there will be no cost impact if you do one of the following:

    • Send a substitute in your place.

    • Register for a different date (if one is available and it has space).

If you cancel one or more attendees entirely less than 14 days prior to the first day of class all but $100 of your money will be refunded.

If you cancel one or more attendees entirely less than 7 days prior to the first day of class all but $250 of your money will be refunded.

If you cancel one or more attendees entirely less than 3 days prior to the first day of class or if the person is a "no show"  there will be no refund

If you show up for only part of the course, you will not be entitled to a refund, unless the course is modularized so that attendees can choose to pay for only certain parts of the course.

  • On-Site and ConsulTraining
    Courses brought to your facility require a great deal of preparation.  The instructor may also have purchased airline tickets that are not refundable.  On-Site and ConsulTraining Courses generally require that 1/3 of the total cost be paid at the time the course is ordered.  This 1/3 also serves as liquidated damages if you cancel the course entirely.

In the event that the course is rescheduled per your request, and you reschedule the course within 3 months of the original date (at a time that is also convenient to our instructor), we will only bill you for actual damages we incurred, if any.  If you reschedule the course at a later time, a restart fee may be charged that represents the re-planning and renewed preparation of the course.

  • Privately Held 
    Privately Held courses require that we prepare our facility to receive you. 

If you cancel at any time, there will be no cost impact if you send a substitute in your place.

If you change to a different date (and if that date is available) and you do so more than 14 days prior to the first day course was to start there will be no extra charge.  

If you cancel or change the date less than 14 days prior to the first day course was to start we will charge you $100.

If you cancel or change the date less than 7 days prior to the first day course was to start we will charge you $250.

If you cancel one or more attendees entirely less than 3 days prior to the first day of class or if the person is a "no show"  there will be no refund.

  • Web Based Courses
    There are no refunds for web-based courses.  If you cannot attend, you must substitute someone else or you will forefeit your fee.
